A judgment for dissolution of marriage reserved husband’s obligation to provide child support and family support of $4,250 per month for four years, when his child support would be based on his salary and statutory guidelines. After four years the amount was not recalculated based on his salary and the wife filed a petition to reset the child support. The court properly set child support retroactive to the date of filing the petition and did not deviate downward from the statutory guidelines. The court concluded that adhering to guidelines was the best way to replicate standard of living that the children enjoyed when parents were married.
